Tubes and Sheets made of Kevlar

Kevlar, also known as twaron, is a polymeric synthetic fibre which is 5 times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis.

The special properties of tubes and sheets made with Kevlar are that they have good resistance to corrosion, do not melt, do not conduct electricity and are also very resistant to knocks.

Kevlar has high heat resistance and decomposes at around 500° C without melting. Due to its characteristics of strength, kevlar is used to make bullet-proof vests, extreme sports equipment and airplane parts.
